Initial and Booster Shot Coverage
Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi encourages everyone to speak to their Network Providers and Network Pharmacists about the COVID-19 vaccines.
Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi has and will continue to pay 100% for FDA/EUA approved vaccines to include the booster and vaccine administration under the Member’s Healthy You! Benefit. However, to receive Benefits with no cost-sharing, you must receive your vaccination from a Network Provider or Community Plus Network Pharmacy. If you have any problems obtaining the vaccination, you may locate your nearest Network Provider or Community Plus Network Pharmacy through your myBlue mobile app or myBlue Account or by calling Customer Support at 1-800-942-0278.
Everyone ages six months and up may receive a COVID-19 vaccine and is encouraged by health professionals to stay up-to-date with your COVID-19 vaccines. Similar to the encouraged annual flu vaccine, COVID-19 boosters are updated versions of the vaccine to match the virus’ variations.
